I'm a dynamic Visual + Product Designer known for my expertise in design, branding, and storytelling. Fuelled by an open-minded approach and wide array of interests, I excel in continuous learning, always excited to explore new ways to enhance my skill set.
My Unique Journey Across Industries
I initially studied social development at the University of Waterloo with the goal of becoming an elementary school teacher. However, my growing interest in the fashion industry led me to pursue a Fashion Styling Certificate at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. Following the completion of the course, I gained hands-on experience working with stylists and designers backstage at New York Fashion Week’s high-profile shows for several years.
Seeking to integrate my creativity and interest in fashion, I pursued a degree in Fashion Communication at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson). Throughout my studies, I took on leadership roles, serving as VP of Marketing for the Fashion Union, Project Coordinator for the "Parallels" fashion show, and Runway Experience Executive for the "Mass Exodus" fashion show.
In my current role as Creative Lead in the tech space, I have defined comprehensive brand guidelines and created the design of user interfaces for two innovative mobile apps, while consistently leading a team of graphic designers, designing successful visuals, and maintaining a vigilant oversight on the visual brand identity across numerous projects in various departments.
My career has spanned diverse industries, showcasing a consistent record of success in dynamic settings. My adaptability and excellence in varied sectors are not just passions but refined skills that give me unique perspectives.
